ECONOMICS, SUSTAINABILITY AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION

After all, what could be greener than a building that’s reused?
That’s just what Donovan Rypkema will discuss during his Architectural
Heritage Center-sponsored talk “ECONOMICS, SUSTAINABILITY, AND HISTORIC
PRESERVATION.” Rypkema, considered the leader in the economics of
historic preservation, is also the author of several books, including The Economics of Historic
Preservation: A Community Leader’s Guide. The National Trust for
Historic Preservation, McMenamins and Daniels Development Co. are
co-sponsoring the talk.
