Our bonsai expert, Justin Parker, will be teaching this class. He’s worked in the green industry for 16 years in which he has been passionately involved with plants. Currently he’s the purchasing manager for Dennis’ 7 Dees. In his spare time he enjoys quality family time & practicing Bonsai.
Class Schedule:
Introduction into Bonsai: This will be a discussion time about what Bonsai is. Where we’ll discuss the History & Fundamentals of Bonsai. This will be an open format with Q&A time. (10:00 – 10:30)Bonsai Demonstration: Group will walk nursery in search of potential Bonsai. Instructor will select a suitable species & begin a transformation for the group! Again this will be an open format with Q&A time. (10:30 – 11:30)
Wrap up discussion & selection: Instructor will help participants select their own material to get started & review with them the process to start transforming their own Bonsai. (11:30 -12:00)
