This panel discussion brings together several professionals with expertise in all phases of home renovation. Panelists include Robert Kraft of Kraft Custom Construction, Wade Freitag of Craftsman Design and Renovation, and Barbara Pierce of CJ Hurley Century Arts. All three have many years’ experience working with homeowners on projects of varying sizes.
The program will be moderated by AHC education manager Val Ballestrem, who has been through many old house projects himself over the years.
Please bring your questions and photos and get answers straight from the experts on a variety of subjects, such as the pros and cons of do-it-yourself work; how to balance your interest in historic preservation with the requirements of modern building codes; and what to expect when working with a contractor. This program offers insight that will help you approach your next project in an orderly fashion and with the confidence to succeed.
