Stroll through over 40 acres of dahlias in bloom at the Swan Island Dahlia Festival, taking place from August 23 to September 1.
A must see for the dahlia lover, or if you just love flowers. Largest display put on by one grower anywhere in the United States. Stroll through over 40 acres of dahlias in bloom and over 400 arrangements in three indoor display rooms. Cultural and arranging demonstrations. Live dahlia tuber dividing demonstration noon-5pm each day during the festival. Food booths and refreshments. Live music from 11:30am-3:30pm daily and Kid’s activities and face painting.
Hours: August 23-25 and August 31-September 1st, Sat-Mon, both weekends. indoor display hours 10am-6pm, field hours 8am-6pm. Open for retail sales April through May.
