LOCATION: Various homes in the Columbia River Gorge.
HOURS: Homes will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; pre-tour and mid-tour-day workshops will also be available (sign up by Sept. 29 at cgec.org).
ADMISSION: $20 per car; tourgoers are encouraged to carpool; free admission if you arrive by bicycle. Guidebooks available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the day of the tour at Gorge Rebuild-it Center (995 Tucker Rd.) in the Heights area of Hood River.
