Thanks to my good friend Karinne, I was out shopping this past weekend in Lake Oswego. Did you know that Lake O has consignment shops? Oh yeah, baby, it does.
Baby Lace® dwarf paniculata hydrangea features petite, lacy white flowers against dark green foliage. The delicate looking blooms are held upright by strong stems that don’t flop. Its smaller size of 4’ h by 4’ w makes it ideal for container plantings and small gardens.
Let’s face it, some of the biggest shopping duties of the year are right around the corner. Have you made your list and checked it twice? Start early, of course, and try avoiding the mall for even more fun.
As a dedicated sun lover, this is a hard time of year for me. Very hard. And when life gets hard, there’s really only one thing to do. Shop. Shop a lot. If you also need to distract yourself from wind, rain, falling leaves and a fading tan, here are some outing suggestions.
We live in a great town for so many reasons – one of which (for me) is all the exceptionally cool neighborhoods. I love to wander those hoods, stop for coffee, shop, lunch with friends. And just about the time I think I’ve mapped and traversed and seen ’em all – a ridiculous thought, to be sure – I find a new set of shops that need exploring.
